Ride Leaders

New for 2025 -

Be a Ride Leader for a day!

In four easy steps.

The PCC is offering every member the opportunity to be a Ride Leader for the day!

Do you have a favourite ride that you want to share or a new route that you want to explore? Well now is your chance!

We want every Rider to have the opportunity to be a ride leader!  You pick the route, the date/time, ability level and the maximum number of people you'd like on your ride. We can help with the rest!

If you are new to mapping we can help you get your route uploaded to Strava and your ride listed on the Cycle Club App

As a Ride Leader you will be responsible for keeping your group safe and having a great time out on the road.   With a little bit of training and familiarization with the Ride Leader Package you’ll be ready to share your adventure with members of wherever ability you choose.

Traditionally, the PCC schedule has been built around weekly rides but in 2025 we are aiming to nurture our adventurous spirit by adding rides that have a unique personality while filling interesting time slots in the club calendar.   We can’t wait to see what our members offer!

If you like to see your ride on the club calendar in 2025 please email us and we’ll get the wheels turning!

Yes I want to be a ride Leader for day!

1 - Ride Details

Send us a note with your ride idea.

Just a general idea is fine and we can provide any support you may need.

Road, gravel, fire routes, mountain bike, ...It's all your choice!

2 - Ride Leader for a Day training

As Ride Leader you are responsible for the group safety. We will go over the Ride Leader guide so you can be an official ride leader for the day and we will have an PCC ride leader on the ride to support you.

3 - Post the Ride in CycleClub

You pick the date and time, route and we will get it posted on the schedule.  Tell your friends and get them out! You can watch the ride to see who is signing on.

4 - Ride

Enjoy the ride and have fun with your group.

Ride well smile often

Why not consider being a regular Ride Leader?
