Sprockids —
Mountain bike instruction for children.

Welcome to Sprockids, where no one sits on the bench!

Sprockids, a structured, 8-week program designed to teach mountain biking to child, is again being offered by the PCC. This exciting and engaging program covers not only riding skills, but also safety, etiquette and bicycle maintenance. This will be our third year teaching young people the necessary skills to enjoy mountain biking in a safe and fun manner.  Help prepare your kids for a fun summer (and lifetime!) enjoying the sport of mountain biking!

The program is appropriate for kids between the ages of 5 and 12 years old, who can ride unassisted (no training wheels, or parents pushing) on grass or trails. Please ensure your child has properly-sized  mountain bike and helmet.

Dates: Mondays in May and June (May 1/17 to June 26/17 inclusive), excluding Victoria Day May 22/17
Time: 6:00 – 7:30pm
Location: First session held at Nicholl’s Oval, all remaining sessions held at Harold Town Conservation Area
