Welcome to the first Tuesday Morning Rec Ride of 2019. It’ll be good to see all the returning riders and all the new members. We will leave the Silver Bean in Millennium Park at 9:15 AM and also finish at the Bean.
As noted in the pace guidelines Rec level 4 is for people who have been on group rides before and are comfortable in group formation both single file and two abreast.
Refer to the Pace Guidelines for a longer explanation of the different pace levels (https://peterboroughcc.com/rides/).
Please see the Tuesday Rec Level 4 for information regarding the route.https://peterboroughcc.com/forums/forum/rec-rides/tuesday-rec-rides/rec-4-tuesday-r4tu/.
Please note that the route is subject to change due to weather conditions or time restraints
Read Ride Participant Guidelines. https://peterboroughcc.com/policies-guidelines/ This will help you to be familiar with the social pace line, the various hand signals all groups use and the way we communicate within a group.
All Rec rides are no drop rides – each level will move at the pace of slowest rider. Rec rides are meant to be a gentle introduction to group riding. That said, over the season the distance and speed will increase as everyone’s fitness improves.
The PCC would like to remind riders that there will be a strict enforcement policy on valid memberships this year — no membership, no ride”
Be sure that you have your 2019 PCC membership available.
