Hello everyone – excited to be back again for another season of Women’s Spring Training. Look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces at 545am on Tuesday May 7th.
This year, the rides will be starting and ending at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Please meet at the main entrance. Front and rear lights are mandatory at this time of day. Check the hourly weather forecast as it can sometimes be chillier at that time in the morning.
Similar to previous years, we will be doing workouts such as intervals and hills. The ride will roll out with a warmup all together and then we will split up (“drop”) during the workout portion. The courses are designed so that we will see each other during the workout, even if split up. The ride is one hour in length.
Looks like we will see the rain is tapering off by the time we ride tomorrow. Be sure to wear an extra layer as it is cold at that time of morning! Looking forward to hearing things up with some interval training 🔥🔥🔥 Remember lights, and must be a PCC member to ride.
Great ride today, everyone! We had 10 energetic cyclists enjoying the morning sunshine while sweating out some intervals. Next week, I’m thinking of hill repeats vs. Intervals on a different (flatter) course. Any votes?
