The purpose of this ride is to offer a recreational and slower pace alternative to some of the existing Sunday rides. We will be focused on being able to increase our distance over the season. Rest assured, things will start slowly/gradually. We want to give everyone time to build her/his confidence and fitness.

This week we will be riding out towards Warsaw/Rock Road/Caves Road/County Rd 6 through Lakefield and Back (~64km), starting at the Ale House (please refer to the link below).

Read the Pace Guidelines for a longer explanation of the different levels ( and the Ride Participant Guidelines ( to formalize yourself with how we ride.

All Rec rides are no drop rides – we will move at the pace of slowest rider. The goal of this rec ride is meant to be an introduction to adding distance to your weekly riding. That said, over the season speed may vary at times due to the routes/terrain we are riding and the conditions we are riding in (e.g., heat).

The PCC would like to remind riders that there will be a strict enforcement policy on valid memberships — no membership, no ride.

    Planned route for May 13:
64-RG-Warsaw-Rock Road- Caves Road – County Rd 6 -Lakefield and Back

Looking forward to seeing you out there.

    Hey Louise,

Rock Road is closed between the main road in Warsaw and Douglas Road, for construction. You likely may need to alter your route to account for this. Maybe go up 4 and over by the Warsaw caves instead…

Thanks to Leslie’s information on road closures, please refer to the following link for the route that relies more on route 4 and Caves Rd.
