Sprockids is all about changing the role and definition of sports in our society. Being active and having fun should be a part of everyday life. Sprockids is all-inclusive. The program is designed to teach young people mountain bike skills and enable them to safely and successfully enjoy mountain biking. Mountain biking is about fun, adventure, adrenaline, and discovery.

  • Riders will be grouped according to skill.
  • Sprockids will begin on April 30th at Nicholl’s Oval. The remaining weeks will take place at Harold Town Conservation Area, Old Norwood Road.
  • Note, Sprockids WILL NOT run on May 21 (Victoria Day).

*Opportunities for Youth 12+

For youth older than 12 years, there is an opportunity to help coach a younger group — please email Nichola Bendle to arrange this! We’d love to have you help us show the younger riders what mountain biking is all about. Also, stay tuned for information about a ride just for you! Email Nichola Bendle if you are interested in a 12+ weekly mountain bike ride.

Interested in helping out?

We’d love to have you! The program is successful because of its volunteers that help with on-site organization of riders, coaches, parking coordinators and high-five givers. If you think you can lend a hand, please email Nichola Bendle via the button below.
